About

Established in 2007, Flowering Shrubs Nursery aims to provide a friendly, caring and safe environment where children can develop through real life experiences. 

Our mission is "to learn from the past, grow in the present and make a better future."

We serve children aged 9 months to 12 years across four Cardiff settings, offering nursery sessions, wrap around school care, after-school clubs, and Welsh Government Flying Start provision.

Our curriculum

We follow the Curriculum for Wales and the Early Childhood Play, Learning and Care guidance. 

Learning is delivered across six areas:

We focus on raising ambitious, capable learners and enterprising, creative contributors — children who are excited to explore the world around them.

Our team

All staff are fully DBS-checked and complete mandatory Child Protection training. We provide mandatory training for all staff alongside additional development opportunities throughout the year. Staff hold or are in training towards a Level 3 CCLD qualification.
